This interdisciplinary course engages students in theoretically and practically based discourse and decision making in resolving ethical issues and dilemmas in health care delivery and research. Benner's model of the evolution of professional expertise and moral sensitivity in nursing, traditional and contemporary ethical approaches and the development of moral agency are critically examined for their applicability to health care ethics and research.
