A wide range of events and activities designed to engage students in Health Innovation. The HIP Student Advisory Group (SAG) provides strategic ad tactical advice on student programs and includes student representatives from major health-related student groups at Emory and Georgia Tech.

Build Your Own ACO: An Interactive Learning Experience (February 28, 2013) Join the IHI Open School, Emory Health Innovation Lab, and Emory Healthcare for a night of interactive learning and discussion as we ‘build an ACO.’ With the help of senior healthcare leaders from Emory Healthcare and the Atlanta community, students will take on the role of payer, provider and health system as we negotiate with one another to create a functioning Accountable Care Organization (ACO) that improves quality, reduces costs, and still allows us to meet our bottom line.

The lab is a virtual collaboration driven by students, aimed at developing healthcare innovation, leveraging their interdisciplinary strengths. It serves as a creative space for students from across Emory, Atlanta and the State to build the Healthcare landscape. The website will serve as a collective voice, journal of publication, and idea lab.
