Healthcare Innovation Symposia Series
HIP and ACTSI will sponsor Healthcare Innovation Symposium XVI, featuring Dr. Eugene Washington, MPH, MD, MSc, Chancellor for Health Affairs at Duke University. This event is entitled Academic Health Centers & the Health of Their Communities and will be held on March 11th, 2016. The symposium will include a distinguished group of panelists and speakers from ACTSI partner institutions. You can register for the event here

Our Student Symposium & Networking Nights are wonderful opportunities for local healthcare professionals and students to come together to have open and honest discussions about improving healthcare knowledge, delivery, and services in our community. Our next event will feature students presenting on Interdisciplinary Educational Programs. The symposium will be followed by a Networking Night, which is an opportunity for students to meet with top professionals to discuss health-related careers.

Seed Grant Program 2016

Round 9
The Healthcare Innovation Seed Grant Program funds multi-investigator, multi-disciplinary teams examining healthcare services and clinical effectiveness. The awards support innovative approaches that address issues of healthcare quality, costs, and/or access. The ninth round of seed grants awarded this spring were sponsored by HIP, ACTSI, the Winship Cancer Institute, and Georgia State University. Read more about our Seed Grant Program here
