Department of Surgery Quality Program

The Department of Surgery Quality Program is building robust information systems that allow the divisions to improve performance and provide superior patient outcomes. Led by Dr. John Sweeney, Chief of the Division of General and Gastrointestinal Surgery, the program participates in the University Healthcare Consortium Quality and Accountability Program, the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program, and the Surgical Care Improvement Project.
